Finish This Fight Foundation

ABOUT
THE MISSION

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a single, measurable goal — purchase 100 FDA-approved Wandercraft exoskeletons for 100 paralyzed U.S. veterans. Not just awareness. Results.

The Foundation

Finish This Fight

The Finish This Fight Foundation was created with a simple but profound belief: American veterans who were paralyzed in service deserve every tool available to help them reclaim their independence.

The Wandercraft Personal Exoskeleton is FDA-approved and clinically proven to enable paralyzed individuals to walk freely. The barrier is cost — approximately $90,000–$120,000 per device. We intend to eliminate that barrier for 100 veterans.

Walk For A Hero is our flagship campaign: a national participatory movement modeled after the most successful charity drives in history, but with one critical difference — every dollar maps to a specific result, and every result is witnessed by the world.

Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does 100% of the money go? +
100% of walker-raised funds go toward purchasing Wandercraft exoskeletons for approved heroes. Operational costs for the campaign are covered by founding sponsor commitments, which include a platform and operations budget in addition to the matching contribution.
How are heroes selected? +
Veterans apply through our online portal. Applications are reviewed jointly by the Finish This Fight Foundation and Wandercraft to confirm eligibility, including verified military service, paralysis documentation, and physical compatibility with the exoskeleton. The first 100 approved applicants are selected. A waitlist is maintained after 100 are confirmed.
Who is Bailey Templeton? +
Bailey Templeton is the Walker Approval Director at Finish This Fight Foundation. Bailey reviews and approves all walker applications to ensure the integrity and quality of the program.
What happens if the campaign doesn't reach $13.5M? +
The founding sponsor commitments of $9M are secured upfront. Any shortfall in walker-raised dollars would reduce the match pool, but the core mission remains intact. Our stretch goal is 100 exoskeletons — every dollar helps reach it.
What is the VA's role in this? +
The Finish This Fight Foundation funds the purchase of the Wandercraft device. Rehabilitation training, fitting, and ongoing medical support are handled through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system, which is equipped to support exoskeleton rehabilitation programs.
Is Walk For A Hero modeled on any existing campaign? +
Walk For A Hero draws inspiration from the participatory model of the Ice Bucket Challenge and the walkathon tradition, but with a key difference: results are specific, measurable, and publicly visible. Each hero's device is tracked from fundraising to delivery to the public walkout moment at a national concert.
Can I volunteer beyond walking? +
Absolutely. We welcome volunteers for concert event support, hero outreach, social media, and more. Contact us through the contact page and mention your interest in volunteering.
